The History

Of Cir Construction

84 Bathurst Street, Liverpool

After nearly 20 years in the construction industry, Tony Zappia established CIR Construction in 2000. Our first office was in 84 Bathurst Street, Liverpool, and that was to be our home for the next 19 years.

Redox

In 2005, CIR Construction’s was awarded its largest contracts thus far - the construction of Redox Pty Ltd’s new headquarters in Minto, NSW. The construction of this development consisted of a three-storey office block, a hazardous goods storage facility, multiple warehouses and a gatehouse building.Since this initial contract, Redox have contracted CIR Construction to build more warehouses to facilitate their expanding business needs.

ABC Paper & Paper Mills

In 2007, CIR Construction was asked to take control of this project after the dismissal of the previous builder by the client. Upon engagement, our primary objective was the site remediation and ensuring compliance with WorkCover and union regulations, made necessary by multitude of infractions committed by the previous builder and trades. At the time of intervention, the construction progress stood at approximately 35%. In our capacity as Construction Manager, our responsibilities included overseeing the rectification of WorkCover violations, addressing security concerns, and orchestrating the seamless integration of existing contracts alongside the installation of the paper mill machinery and associated infrastructure.

376 The Horsley Drive, Fairfield

In 2013, CIR Construction undertook the construction of a multi-use development situated on one of the most prominent sites within Fairfield.The eight-storey development with consisted of 62 two and three bedroom apartments with one basement level of parking and ground floor commercial space, and is serviced by three lifts.

12 Homepride Avenue, Warwick Farm

This construction project comprised of the development of an industrial complex comprising of 52 factory units.  The construction method involved metal frames and concrete tilt-up panels constructed on site. This was complemented by coloured metal facades. Additionally, the scope of work included the construction of associated driveways and landscaping features. This development was completed in 2019 and has become the new home of CIR Construction.

56 Central Hills Drive, Gregory Hills

This construction project comprised of the development of a premium industrial complex comprising of 14 factory units at a Gateway site between Gregory Hills and Smeaton Grange. The construction method involved metal frames and concrete tilt-up panels constructed on site. This was complemented by coloured metal facades. Additionally, the scope of work included the construction of associated driveways and landscaping features. This development was completed in 2023.
